Why Powder Route exists
My mom put me on skis when I was two. I grew up skiing the Midwest and the Powder Highway in western Canada, spent a few years chasing turns out east, and eventually made my way to Colorado. What I figured would be a couple of quick years in Ski Country U.S.A. has turned into a lot more than that, and I couldn't be happier.
Somewhere along the way I became the person my friends and family called every time they wanted to plan a ski trip. Which region, which mountain, how do you get there, where do you stay, when should you book, and is this place even the right fit for your group's ability, vibe, and budget. I'd already been working that out for trips across the U.S., Canada, and Japan, so Powder Route is really just me doing on purpose what I was already doing for anyone who asked.
I'm not here to upsell you on anything. My job is to hand you options that match what you actually want, need, and can spend, and tell you honestly what I think will make the best trip for your group. The rest, actually booking it and going, is still all yours.
